Fovitec StudioPro Softbox Lighting Kit

FOVITEC STUDIOPRO SOFTBOX LIGHTING KIT

Even though I no longer use this soft box lighting kit, I can still recommend it if you’re on a budget and need to upgrade your lighting. I created probably close to 100 or more videos with these lights alone and I was always complimented on how nice my lighting looked in my videos. If you need a place to start, you can’t go wrong with a triple soft box lighting kid like this one!

BMAC Neewer 18-Inch Ring Light

NEEWER RING 18-INCH RING LIGHT

If you’ve ever wondered how some YouTubers get that beautiful “circle of light” reflection in their eyes, the secret is likely this bad boy right here. Ring lights can instantly improve the entire look, feel, and professionalism of your videos and that “circle” reflection is actually usually a reflection of this ring light itself. It’s a bright, powerful, dimmable 18-inch ring light that is perfect for numerous filming scenarios. It’s usually called a “beauty" light” for a reason! Even though I don’t use this particular light anymore, I did for many videos and can still highly recommend it!

Film Sand Bags

SANDBAGS

The worst thing that could happen to your lighting setup is that it falls over and shatters your expensive lighting equipment. Sandbags like these act as a counterbalance, ensuring that the weight of any lights on a tripod or C-stand don’t tip over because of their own weight. Have these on hand, fill them with some cheap play sand, and you can save yourself hundreds by preventing accidental damage.
