CANON T3I CAMERA BODY

This camera body right here was instrumental in launching my filmmaking and photography career. Although there are a several newer models that have been released since this camera originally came out, it could still be a great starter for camera for anybody looking to get into filmmaking or photography - especially for the price!

CANON 18-55MM F/3.5-5.6 KIT LENS

This is the “kit lens” that typically comes with the Canon T3i. Just because it’s a “kit lens” doesn’t mean it’s any less professional. For probably around 75% of the videos and photos you’re going to shoot in the beginning stage of your filmmaking and photography career, this lens will get the job done for your projects - Instagram photos and YouTube videos alike. It’s a great “learning lens” to get you acquainted with camera settings such as focal length and aperture.

CANON EF 50MM F/1.8 STM LENS

This was the first lens purchase I ever made. I wanted a longer focal length with a wider aperture to capture photos with a much shallower depth of field for in my Instagram feed. This thing got the job done and instantly upped the quality of my videos and photos for a fair price. If you’re rocking a Canon camera with an EF mount, I highly recommend this lens.
